Help baby chick has strange bugs on it

So yesterday we saw two lice on Ebbie (the black chick) because it’s easier to see them on her. We treated them with the dust. They are out now and I just saw two more lice on her🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m planning to get the Elector PSP (I think that’s what it’s called 😉) but I would like to keep using the dust until it comes to get all the lice off. Is it bad if I use the powder too much? And why are there still more lice?

You need to give it a little time to work and the bugs to come in contact with it.

How often are you using it, if everyday, I'd back off a bit, especially if you're getting the elector psp.
Every few days or when we see lice. They are sneezing but their brooder has gotten a little dusty. I’m planning to wipe all the dust off tomorrow. It’s not the elector psp it’s coming the day after tomorrow. I’m using the poultry dust but the lice seem to keep hatching! Does the elector psp kill the lice eggs too?

Leave them be until the elector psp gets there, it's a one and done, kills all the insects and their eggs, no need to repeat treatment

That’s great!!! Thanks for all your help! If I mix it with water and dip them in do I need to drip any water on their head? And is it ok to dip chicks in water? Do I need to treat them some other way?

You're welcome! How old are they now, 2 weeks? I think I would just use a spray bottle since they are so young, get the back of the neck, under both wings, and vent area (be sure it gets down to the skin).
