Help! Baby goose has flystrike!

Hi, i am in urgent need. My adorable chinese gosling has severe flystrike, and the maggots already have been cleaned out. the maggots went around 1 cm deep, and should i spray her butt everyday with salt water?! Please reply soon!

I believe the first thing to do is to remove as many maggots as possible. It's not pretty, obviously, but a pair of tweezers should do nicely. Remove as many as you can and sure, try the salt water. Please keep us updated.

Does it have circulation? If it is well and truly dead and the baby can't feel any pain when you cut it then I don't see why not.

Just be VERY careful as to not puncture anything, or make her bleed.

its under the tail, not at the butthole and the flesh is black and brown
