Help bad butts!

2 of our chicks have nasty looking vents. The golden comet is still running around normal but stands funny. Hard to explain. The speckled black and white chick has good fight but is dazed and confused most of the time. She seems to eat and drink. Poops are running but not too abnormal. They are on medicated feed. They are with 7 other chicks. Help!

Juicy poops on ground...pics??
That much mess is abnormal IMO.
Get them cleaned up with warm water and blow dry them.
Make sure vent is clear.
Can see much on pics they are out focus where it counts.

The others were like butterscotch pudding. I noticed during the bath her stomach is hard and swollen. And her crop is really extended on one side.

Try switching to a high protein game bird starter. I don’t use medicated since I started keeping Guinea Fowl in with my chickens and I have the healthiest group of chicks yet. Not only are they plump and feathering early but none of them had pasty butt this time...just a suggestion.

The drop of blood is concerning.
If the belly is swollen the umbilicus area may be infected.
As long as the crop empties over night, it's fine, the crop can get quite stuffed.

I’ll check her crop and stomach in the morning. I switch to non medicated food and put save a chick in their water.

What kind of sav-a-chick...probiotics or electrolytes?
Make sure plain water is also available.
