Okay, so here's the story: I was supposed to get Porcelain D'Uccles specially ordered into our local Value Barn (not TSC) and when the shipment came there were only six chicks that even looked close to what I was expectings (soft yellow, feathered feet, etc). The box they came in had NO LABEL (I'm friends with the clerk and went in to unpack the boxes and dip the beaks) and I purchased them because I though, by process of elimination, that they were probably d'uccles. Except they're not. Any idea? I'm thinking splash cochins except I need to know whether they're standard or bantam. I don't have room for standards! They're huge. My run was at capacity when I thought they were bantams!

    Help?

Maybe you got Cochins. They do not look like D'Uccles to me.

I didn't read your whole post.lol I think your absolutely right. Standard Cochins get pretty big too. I have one in my flock. I absolutely adore my Daisy.
