help!! Black soldier fly larvae escaping

Hi there, I have just noticed that my box has some new born bsfl, however many of them are trying to escape from the box.

1, Why? ?Does anyone have a clue?
2, and for the new born bsfl, what should I feed them?

They are escaping because they discovered holes in your security. Probably literally.

I don't raise BSFL but I do raise meal worms, and once I had larvae escape the confines of their plastic file box drawers. They got into my water heater closet and then began their march across my kitchen floor.

Larvae in a box is one thing. Larvae on the march in your house is quite unacceptable. I feel for you.
