Hello,
My two silkies have very bloated crops all day for a couple of days now, I am going to check their crops in the morning after withdrawing food and see if it goes down. They have normal poops and are acting normal too, I massaged one of their crops to help it go down and she threw up a little bit.
Is this sour crop? Should I be concerned?
I have added ACV to their water and hopefully this will help!

I mean do they always have later available or do you feed them once a day? If they have food available at all times they might just eat whenever they’re hungry, and always have a fuller crop.

Yes the food is always available, I have isolated them without food or water today so will check up on them later to see if it has gone down
The thing that had me concerns was that they do a weird neck movement like they’re trying to push food down almost/ have something stuck, like a neck jerk? But both so it, is this normal?

I isolated them with no food or water for 6 hours and their crop is normal again. I think your right in they just eat food all the time! My other chickens don’t have this issue but the silkies must be more greedy! Thank you!
Please let me know if you think that the neck jerk they do is unusual!
