Help! Blood, and funniness in multiple chick’s poop, puffed up, slightly lethargic!

I would always use th maximum dosage for treating for coccidiosis. That is 2 tsp of the liquid or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days. If you have the undiluted Corid, give a couple of drops twice a day. Use a dropper or get them to drink the treated water by dipping the beak. It is easy to choke if water is poured into them. Better to let them sip or hold a spoon to the side of the beak where they will take some. Make sure the bedding is dry and clean. Clean it out often and dispose of the old soiled bedding. Clean feeders and wateres daily, and raise them with a board up to shoulder height to keep them cleaner. Medicated feed can be used at the same time, but is not necessary once you are using Corid (amprollium.)

In addition to the Corid treatment, please do clean out their brooder, clean and sanitize the feeders and waterer daily until their droppings look normal again.

You can elevate the feeders and waterer using some bricks or a wooden cutting board to prevent them from scratching the bedding right in.

I am sorry you lost your little hen.
Thank you! We cleaned out their brooder earlier this morning, sanitized it with antibacterial wipes, and scrubbed all food and water dishes and refilled them. We will continue to do so and hopefully this can be solved! :)

I have one little D'uccle hen that isn’t looking to good, but I’ve been giving her lots of water (dipping her beak in it, and carefully pouring a couple drops down her throat if she won’t drink) and force feeding her. I saw her eat a little bit on her own just now after I fed her some, so hopefully she will continue to eat it and drink!

This might be a weird question, but would it be a good idea, to make their food into a mash, but instead of using plain water, to mix the food with the corid water solution, or is that unnecessary?

Thanks all!
