My chick was fine this morning but in one hour he suddenly started feeling sick, he's panting, he can walk but he feels like his legs are tired, kinda looks dizzy! 🥺 No idea what's wrong with him! I gave him some sugary water

What is the temperature like? Do you have a heat gradient in the brooder (i.e. 90+ on one side and cooler on the other).
I have a light lamp, and it's really hot here around 37 degrees 😞 usually chicks do fine in the brooder 😞 can't tell the exact temperature tho

Holy sheesh....37c is 98 degrees farenheit! If your house is 98 degrees without the heat lamp then yeah that chick is way way too hot!

Room temperature is way lower than the outside temperature unless we live in a tent lol 😞 but I tried closing the lamp and he started closing his eyes so I opened it back also I noticed their legs aren't hot they're relatively cold 🥺 I read that if they're hot their legs should be warme and more panting 😞 he isn't panting tho but he keeps tripping and isn't active

Giving him the sugar water was a great idea.

Now, for the suggestions of the others, if there is a part of the pen that is allowed to be cooler than the warm side, and if its too hot he will naturally move over to the cooler side.

Neat trick right?

You can use their behavior to tell if its too hot or too cold.

(Although if you are next to the cool side and if he's scared of you that can prevent him from going to the cooler side also.)

Not sure about them being scared I always hand feed them and such so they should be more comfortable with me right? And yep I moved him away from the lamp and he went back to under it, also he's sleeping now 😞 but I gave him some minced yolk before he sleeps, I also gave him some sand for the grit? 😞 There is something tho they usually move in the sand then back in the water and stuff, so the water sometimes has sand in it, I make sure to change it but sometimes it stays that way for a while 😞 can this be the reason?
