Don't see anything or hear anything from the eggs. I'm wondering if maybe it got too humid for them since they had to go into lockdown early for this early chick.Probably resting. Just keep an eye on it. How are the other eggs doing? Have you candled them? If they are fully developed you may not see any movement. You can put an egg to your ear and tap on it and sometimes you can hear the chicks inside.
My humidity is pretty high like 75% because I knew I would have to take this chick out and lose some humidity.I would. If they go into lockdown a bit early it shouldn't really matter too much. I have had chicks hatch in my incubator because I marked the wrong week on my calendar and the humidity was around 30%. Once I took some eggs out I thought were quitters and put them in an open egg carton sitting on a table in the room and to my surprise they hatched. I wish I had taken a picture but was so caught up in the moment didn't think to take any pictures. When are/were the chicks supposed to hatch?
