Help chick won't put weight on leg!!!!

He hatched today?
It could be a hatch defect caused by high temp or too much humidity, but I'm thinking it looks more like a vitamin deficiency. Give him a vitamin B-complex tablet, or Riboflavin (B2), and a general poultry vitamin supplement, such as nutri-drench (it's a good source, but a little low on Riboflavin, which is the most likely culprit). Merck poultry nutrition is a good reference.

Also, check his functional leg, especially at the knee joint, to make sure that it matches the other one. That doesn't look like a slipped tendon to me, but better safe than sorry. Here's an article on fixing slipped tendon.

And here's poultry podiatry, which is an excellent site. Bookmark it. Love it.
I seen this post and read your reply, maybe you can help me.

I have a 3 day old chick that I hatched, it was fine the first day normal hobble and wobbles for all the chicks. But last night I noticed that one of my chicks doesn’t want to put weight on its foot, it tries to scratch itself with that foot but falls over. It’ll lay normally with the foot, but when standing it won’t put weight on it and is doing a lot of sleeping.

Here’s some pics of how it stands, if I hold its hips it’ll keep the feet even but if I release the hips that one foot goes up.
