Help!! Chicken can't breathe!

I would put her on Tylan right away. 1/2cc injected into the meaty part of the breast. 3 shots, one every other day, on different sides of the breast each time. Use a syringe(without needle) to give water with electrolytes ( gatorade will work). pull down on waddle to get her to open mouth. don't put too much liquid in at once, she her swallow it. wind pipe is at the back of the mouth, don't get water down in it.

Even if the vet won't treat your chicken, tell them that she has a respiratory infection and needs Baytril. Unfortunately a vet prescribed antibiotic only. Sounds like you are from NZ, so probably the same there.
