HELP. Chicken in distress!

Thanks for all the information. The only problem is my dad will not let me take her inside. I know the other chickens will eventually kill her. I put her in her own box, but it's still in the coop, she won't eat or drink tho, she can't... she was walking perfectly fine yesterday, and today she is just motionless. I tried to feed her but she only took like 25 pellets and a few hunks of bread. And evrytime I tried to help her drink, she shook her head and spit it back out. I geuss she thought I was drowning her and it was a defense or something. What do I do now?

I hope she just sprained it or something, she is my only chicken that is tounbg enough to lay and she hasn't even layers her first egg becaus Of the cold. I raised her from a chick. If she dies, than I'm gonna just end up getting rid of my old buddies and getting s few new one, the only problem is the money. But I'll worry about hat bridge when/if it comes. Let's just hope it doesn't

I recently had a similar experience with a hen favoring one leg, tired and unable to walk more than a few steps at a time. She was isolated, no obvious signs of injury nor abnormal fecal matter. Active, alert, eating and drinking. I gave her an external exam and couldn't find anything to include a thorough inspection of her feet and toe. She isolated kept warm with a heating pad and given vitamin water for about a month. I also upped her protein intake. Full recovery. My educated guess was she either landed wrong off the roost or the rooster was a bit to aggressive with her causing a leg/thigh injury.

In the future, I would really restrain from 'scaring' her into moving or trying to create a reaction. Stress is a killer of chickens with or without injury. Heat, isolation, and vitamins should always be the first step in any treatment. Good luck with her, please keep us updated!
Sadly she died recently after a few months of being awesome of internal bleeding I believe caused by Egg Peritonitis. She just got no breaks in life, miss her terribly.

Ok, I'll boil some eggs tomorrow, and I'll let y'all know how she's doing in he morning if you want. U have a carrier cage I can put her in. The only problem is I have to go buy a small waterer, but that won't be a problem
