HELP. Chicken in distress!

She actually hasn't pooped all day, and the only thing she doesn't like is when I lightly squeeze her leg up top where it connects to her thigh, then she lets out a little squeak and jumps back. DOnt worry I only did it once, it's not like I kept hurting her. I just happens to touch her and squeeze a little when I bent over to pick up my phone

The second sling looks pretty good! You may never know what brought this on, so I would say your priority at this point would be to keep her hydrated and safe from the others. Without a diagnosis, you can just give supportive therapy and keep her comfortable. They can dehydrate really fast, so make sure she's getting water, about 100 ml/ 24 hrs. Good luck!

Hi there. I don’t mean for this to sound condescending, but I am proud of you! Great job adjusting the sling to work better. If she is sore, she may have injured herself (maybe jumping off the roost) and rest in the sling will be good for her. How cold is it where you are and where she sleeps? Just want to make sure she can keep herself warm. She may benefit from a little protein treat (like tuna, sardines, scrambled egg, or canned cat food) to help her repair the injury.
If it is Marek’s, my understanding is her only hope is supportive care.
Keep up the good work!

Still not eating. When I checked on her today she was in a lot of pain, and when I picked her up I realized deer vent was very large. I squeaked her stomach and she pooped about as much as a dog does. I mean litteraly she pooped logs and multiple. She was very happy after that, but still can't walk. It is about 60 degrees right now, and it's rained all day, I put a towel over her but she got drenched. She is very cold and shivering. I can't do anything for her. All my lights are broke, nor could I get it out there. What do I do?

I have her in the cage, and inside the pan with the others, but on the other side of it were the chickens normally don't go. If it is Merrick's, I don't want her to be able to spread it.

Look, she is obviously suffering. Did you not think to cover her cage so that she didn't get wet?? If you can't bring her in and are not able to warm her up then it really is not fair to let her suffer. I know you may think I am picking on you, but a wet bird in winter, without heat, that is not eating is going to suffer and die. It would be kinder to end it for her than leave her cold and wet and sick.

I did cover her up. But like I said it's been raining all day. Eventually the towel era saturated and drops onto her. I might put a tarp over her. I have to find a way to dry her off. I don't know how. Any idea? I'll just use a tarp to cover instead of a towel. But still she will still be wet until she dries, then she'd stay dry. But I need to know how to dry her off

She was also a little sick looking today. If she is even worse tomorrow and maybe the day after, I'm gonna put her down, which is gonna be hard since my little brother loves her so much. He calls her chikaleta, from paw patrols, his favorite tv show
