Time spent trying to save your chicken is never wasted! It's just your first time trying something new, that's all. Look at how close a chicken's legs are, and cut the openings using that as a guide. Also, it looks like there is too much sagging in the fabric. Maybe try to secure it at the top a little tighter.
Right foot. Not the hurting one. Just showing piucture for comparison, the second picture is the leg she won't use, but can move it when she's upside down.
Leg is perfectly normal. But when I sit her down she picks that leg up and falls to her right side. She can move her toes and what not, and she doesn't get upset when I move her left leg, she just won't stand on it. When she barely touched it to the ground she jerks it back up and falls again. Nothing lodged in foot already checked that. I'm about to send a picture of my new set up. Y'all tell me if y'all think it'll work
