Hailey, you have done a great job! So happy that he is walking, and getting food and water independently. Does he have any weakness in the one leg anymore? If you re-introduce Brownie to the rest of the flock, be very cautious and slowly let him be with them a little at a time. Dog crates with food and water inside the coop are good for gradually let them get used to him without him getting hurt. Supervised free ranging is also good. Good luck Brownie!
Edited to say: I see you are using the dog crate and he is standing on both legs.Yay!
Good job, Kailey! I will say you put a lot more time and effort into Brownie than a lot of people (including me) would have.
Thanks! I am not goi mg to put him back into the flock until he can walk well, as well as run ok.
Thank you guys for ALL of your support!!
I use those same bird cups in my crates, they work great.
They DO!! I love them!! They are SOOO helpful.
Kailey, thank you for sharing Brownie’s amazing progress! Please don’t take this as condescending, but I have to say, I’m very proud of you. Good work and I admire your patience.
This is just wonderful Kailey - well done!
You do your bestbest, that's all we can do. I am sending you kind thoughts and prayers.
