@Eggcessive thanks. I' really glad I found this site. This situation Would have been harder for me without all the advice and being able to ask questions. Glad to get advice from chicken people vs. Some dude at tractor supply. As far as the other birds they are all active n such but i had spotted diahria before. Theres mostly normal poo in their coop when i see it but better off safe then sorry. So like i said I'm getting the meds for their water.

@PennyM haha I thought pullets was their breed!!!! When I spoke to my friend with chickens I told her the guy mentioned that word and I swore that was the breed.. I felt dumb. I'm use to cats and dogs.

Be very wary of information given by feed store employees. They do know where the feed is stored in the warehouse but perhaps nothing else about it. When in doubt, read the feed label and the guaranteed analysis tags on the bag, just like we should be reading ingredients for our other animals, children and ourselves.

The nutri-drench isn't meds, it is a nutritional supplement. Think of it as a multi-vitamin in liquid form with added amino acids and an energy source.

Also, a friend mentioned grit. If my chickens have free run in a 10x10area of dirt with rocks is it still needed? I' a bit confused on the grit subject as well

Sorry for your loss, it's hard and unfortunately comes with raising animals :(

Hope I did this right but here's a link (I hope) to a Poop Chart, I'm wondering if you sometimes see diarrhea it's their "cecal" poo?

My girls are in an enclosure with dirt ground doing DLM with shavings, I still have a container of grit for them as well as Oyster Shells.
