help , chickens new unfinished coop collapsed ON them

Blood coming out of the beak and ears is probably fractured skulls and brain bleeding. Those chickens probably should be humanely put down to wnd their suffering. Any ballooning out of the neck or elsewhere if it feels puffy like air under the skin can be from leaking air sacs and may cause severe respiratory distress. Treatment usually involves piecing the skin with a sterilized needle, and pushing the air out. Black heads could be from bruising, bleeding, or if combs are black, low blood oxygen or heart failure from shock. I would triage the chickens to see who may have milder injuries that rest and care could save, and think about putting down the poor things who were severely injured so they do not suffer. Since they can be in shock for the first few hours, keep them warm, quiet, and in a dim area. Later, if they are alert, offer water to sip from a small cup held up to beaks. Electrolytes can be added to water. Fluids are most important. Look them over for wounds, broken bones, bruising. I am more in favor of putting them out of their misery than putting them through painful treatments that may prolong suffering. It just sounds like there may be too manny with too much trauma to save all of the birds. Sorry this happened.
given fact they are with 2many to handle by hand I have putted in the needles with bags of elektrlts and I got those because I am used to it and work as the so called vet in the cages , a seperate wing where the poorest that might have a chance better yet the mo
Keep us up to date on this thread. I'm rooting for you and the chicks
I thank you all with the heartwarming words and info , update about the situation here :
the vet has seen the most unluckiest birds and I quote this animallover who has a passion for chickens too and also owns them : " It is one good thing that you followed what you have watched in the practice , because if you did not have had this calmth and knowledge these hens were now gone but don't expect a miracle , they are terribly injured and less likely to have a normal life wether its about their health physically , wether it is their history combined with a new trauma " , chances are that many will have a life of drama , the ones that were out of shock and started screaming excessively will never be able to deal with the normal life , if by a few hours they continue the screaming and going in and out of shock he gives them 36 hours and says he is gonna have to kill them , the combination of being in constant stress and bad circumstances + the learning of all new things + adapting to the humanhand + their pain and possibly forever lasting injuries , + the fact they felt safe and now will see a coop as danger will indeed take too much time vs work with a way to big risk they will never be able to handle life anymore gives this option : setting them free after cure , but 100% in the wild which is unlikely a succes but has the most in ratio to give them what they should have been given , second option is to keep them free ranged and only throw feed but no coop nor human ? and last and according to this vet who LOVES chickens is to indeed cull them or put massive amounts of time and effords in them with no big succes at all , but it is possible .
Given the fact there are in total a number of 50.000 hens that are traumatised by the cages and will be happy to get into a coop + these hens do not have names and I am less attached to them because they go away constantly ( one had a name and is ... you know and was one of them I was gonna keep myself given the fact she had less chances to get rehomed , this Girl was called Lisa ) , my conclusion is harsh ,
so I have been given " treatment too " because I just couldn't keep it together anymore and I assume that deciding about so many young lifes is never easy for anyone .
The decision is made as following : too many chickens already at this very moment are only a tiny pinch away from the slaughterhouse , time is crucial , overworked you need to continue in it or just dont go along with it and it is best to stay selective in it no matter how harsh this is , this emotional rollercoaster and this disaster is not even a good enough reason NOT to show up tomorrow ( today already )...
the good news however is this = the friend vet here always used to adopt chickens in all breeds , colours , behaviors , disablings and so on because he likes these hens , has a good and steady coop with already a lot of animals in it and given the fact he is also n animalbehaviorexpert in study he is willing to take a few in in his BY , he also claims just as I agree on this that the fact the other chickens already in there will be good for these hens , it is a different environment and coop and the chickens present will be all relaxed and go inside their coop that they consider as the safest spot on earth , they form a great picture for the traumatised chickens as those other girls will be stunned when one of the rescuehens starts to act crazy to go inside and look like " uhm girl what is your name ? where u from and why you act so annoying ?? I go to my safe spot , got a problem ? come with me ok " , so at this point , ok we have lost enough here , but the hens are gonna stay with him but ONLY those that do not continue shock and screams ( in time of 36 hours ) will be taken in and he considers this as an experiment which is true , so in fact I gave these girls another chance where they get to live a relatively normal life but also serve science , rehoming is anyway out of the question so I think this is fair ... he had to cull a few but not many , 6 losses and now in awaiting on their cure .. they are now with him already but not in the backyard , further action is required the nice whole night long while a big heavy day is waiting too on the hens with minor issues ( taping broken bones etc ) . thank u all for everything here , some have even given great info I forgot about ! memory is working like zip now

and to find a little bit of solace ? pff solace , not really but yes a little bit , it anyway just felt warm to watch ... Is Lisa's sister Mona at this point , just when a disaster happened you will know in just a second why Mona did not fly out with the rest of the girls ... I have a girl that is only here for such a short time and I randomly bought these to be my own hens really , she has ever since she started to eat out of the hand a very pale looking face , pale comb , stole Lisa's eggs on occasion and at this time she just pecks when I tried to take those eggs away , what could that be ? no the heartwarming small moment now a few minutes ago when I checked and knew about forgetting the eggs today and even yesterday was that very LITTLE MOMENT she notices another egg in one of the boxes on the ' second floor ' and tucks the egg gently underneath her belly , tried to take it away to test her reply to it ? guess what I just had ? sweet Mona wants to be a mommy i think ... tested her enough to have felt her beak even going trough my skin ! she is so protective over the eggs , and does not sit on it constantly yet but I am guessing that this girl is willing to hatch for serious , constantly dragging in all kinds of things in a corner to create a nest , and she buried some eggs a few days ago too when she went for her treats , you guys should see this when another hen is near and certainly when she took Lisa's eggs she looked at the others to be ' sneaky ' like this " mmmh would she see what I am doing ? good she just found bugs ! go go egg ! mine ! yess ! " , looking at that small moment ? thanks for helping me as well to get the courage again Mona :) , it is not the plan in fact but whatever makes her happy as she gained lots of weight and feathers and I will explain how I managed to achieve better growth of the feathers and weight in another topic , also how u can make mealworms less harmfull , this is only week two she is here but when I upload some pics I think u guys soon find she is doing it very well and that is why I won't break her now , first I was but a cage again ? breaking her would break something else inside of her too ... So we will see because she is not entirely stressfree and just what natures says will happen . I found I could share it with BYC here due to the sad post .
