HELP CHICKS LEG TURNING GREEN!!!

i know you can, but i do not have any, i feel like it might be better to let her walk on it, i made her a little area with food and water, but she just wanted to be with he other chicks.
I just put up some wire between one of my chicks that was injured for a couple days and that way she still felt like she was with the group. Usually if an animal injures a limb, you just keep them off it and observe that it is not serious and needing veterinary care. You may want to put together a little first aide box for the future:) I have dogs also, so I keep a lot of first aide supplies just on hand in case of minor emergencies, just an idea:)

I'd just keep a close eye on her for a day or two. If it's a fracture it will likely get worse. If you see signs of it getting worse you can reassess. If it's just bruised and sprained then it should slowly get better. Putting up wire to separate them works well, or depending on your set up a small wire crate inside where the rest of the chicks are so they can all see each other, if you need to separate. If she's not getting trampled or picked on, or kept from food and water then I'd just leave her.

i have a first aid box for my chickens, and i treated her all i could. that is what i did, i separated her with some hardware cloth, but she started freaking out and trying to jump it

Thanks! she is not getting picked on as far as i can tell, the other chicks are snuggling her and not walking over her. she seems much happier with the whole group!
