I don't know what to do and may be just worrying but this little chick has been coming out feet first!! Is this ok? It seems his head is stuck and his little leg is shaking.
I just lost a chick assisting last night so I'm feeling down and am quite scared to help again.
What do you all think I should do....let it be or help remove the shell from his head?? He's chirping but the shaking leg worries me. Not to mention the humid has clouded the incubator increasing from 70 last night to 74 today??

Ok I gently pulled back the shell but this yellow stuff is attached to his bum, is this yolk?? he's still chirping but not looking all that happy! Half off it has come off his bottom but the rest is still there??
its really hard to get a pic due to humidity grrrr.

OH another question...if this little birdie survives and fluffs up....should i remove the waste around his bottom or just let it be?
Thanks in advance everyone :)

I would wipe it off. It may be a little attached to his navel, I've had that happen sometimes - if so, just be careful removing it. You might actually want to see about doing it now, in case it is attached; wouldn't want him to get it caught on something and yank it.
