Where are the Muscovies???? Cmon!!!!

I don't know much about them. Someone else will have to include those otherwise the entry will just say "males are bigger than females and they all have this red gunk stuck on their faces"

For the weights, it might be a good idea to add the female-male weights... I know on pekins, it's can be a difference up to 3 pounds.

I have four indian runners, and they quack a lot more often than when startled or upset. I think you got lucky and got a less dominant runner! Mine are sometimes mirgrain inducing!

Maybe you could add a number to the loudness and frequency, like a 0-10... rather than a description... (like, 0 being mute, 10 being the loudest or most often) When i was deciding on a breed, i went with runners because i read on a chart somewhere they didn't quack that often... BOY was it wrong! lol

Based my my experience with ducks so far i'd rate these guys as---

Runners- 7 or 8 in loudness, a 6 in frequency
Pekins- 8-9 loudness, 4 or 5 in frequency
Snowy Mallards- 4 or 5 loud, 4 or 5 freq
Blue Swedish- 6 loud, 6 freq
Muscovies- 0 loud, 0 freq
Calls- 9 or 10 loud, 8 or 9 freq
Magpies- 5 loud, 5 freq
Cayugas- 4 or 5 loud, 4 or 5 freq.

oh and one more thing!

I'm quite the little drawer... If you'd like, I can draw and scan each duck for your chart if you can't find uniform looking pictures... That way you don't have to worry about copy rights...

I like photos over drawing when available. Can you give me a pic of one of YOUR runners? Yours are much closer to breed standard than my Chrissy.
