help crowing

My newly discovered rooster (he was sold to us as a 'hen') has started crowing. I wouldn't mind, however we live in a busy town and have neighbours directly surrounding us. Are there any tips to stop him crowing so early. I know he won't stop crowing, but i'm sure the neighbours do not appreciate the saturday morning wake up call.

good luck. Some of my roosters start crowing at 2:30 am when I get up go to work. If you have a garage or shed I would stick him in there so no to disturbe your neighbors.
