Also, if you candle the pointy end of the eggs you will see a light space probably. That is the yolk. I can tell when they're ready to hatch because the light space will disappear. Veins are a really great sign though. If they're alive right now, they will probably make it.

No movement that i can see, still have not put hole in second egg either

Yes he'll still make it. I've had many hatch with the holes just fine

Good luck with your eggs. I'll check back in the morning. Keep the humidity around 60 percent so they don't dry out with the holes in there

Oh boy.
NEVER put live eggs in water.

Never poke a hole in an egg unless you have seen it internally pip.


Don't set eggs again until you go out and buy a humidty gauge, that you can salt test, to put in your bator.
While your out shopping pick up a thermometer that you can calibrate too.

Never trust a build in thermometer that comes installed on an incubator.
