Hey it's me again!
Just being a worried duck lady once again. I've stopped turning them but now the duck seem to be laying in part of the aircell but hasn't pipped yet? Is that normal?
I really don't want to confuse her pushing against the air cell to her having actually pipped since I know she can't breath in there forever if she pipped. Will I hear chipping if she pipped or could she pip and not chip?

That day (day 26 almost 27) three ducklings hatched right in front of all the kiddos ( this was an incubating project with my group of middle schoolers) Before leaving that night I took away some shell from a duck who had externally pipped 48 hours ago at the wrong end and next morning 4 ducklings had hatch ( including the one that pipped wrong) and then I also assisted another one who pipped at the wrong end. It was quite a stressfull week but I'm happy to say that they all made it and I assisted successfully 3 of them.
