Help? Day 29 Waiting for hatch signs on 8 Pekin duck eggs

I checked under the down and it does not look brown. There is some yellow looking drainage however. ???

Belly doesn't look swollen... when you look through the down around the navel, is the skin dark or discolored at all?

It is yellowish and he keeps trying to dig at it, doing fillings and twists etc. What do I do?

Flips! Not fillings. He's flipping over and over.

Do you mean the duckling is flopping around like uncontrollably?

I wouldn't say uncontrollable. He will settle down if you hold him. He very much wants that (whatever it is) off.

Have you had him in water yet? Maybe some short swims would help. Shallow warm water, just deep enough for him to float but still touch the bottom. Dry with a towel, then a low, warm blow dryer, from a distance. Not too hot!

How is the Duckling today ?.....If it's draining a yellow puss?...You can use a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol and clean the area twice a day....
Hope it heals up soon...It could be itchy?...Possibly why it's flopping itself over?...
