HELP!! Days old chick can't stand or walk!!

They came in the mail from a hatchery, arrived on Wednesday. I didn't have them vaccinated for anything. She's eating a chick start gruel and some doctored up water, I added small amounts of sugar salt baking soda. Tomorrow I plan to go get some infant vitamins and plain Gatorade for her to dilute. I have her in a little sling and a yogurt cup with her legs hobbled. She's more lively tonight than she was last night trying to stand but seems too weak. Falls down on her hocks

I'd like to add that I do feel this may be due to trauma. My 2 year old snuck in the small coop before I noticed and I heard a peep but when I ran in there he had put the chick down. Mom fail to not have been quicker. She/he is drinking very well and eating some (I wish more). It's fighting the splint some tonight and peeping a lot more than last night (which was none). I'm hopeful but guarded since i have no clue what happened or if this was even the chick he picked up. I feel awful but just focusing on the positive.
But any advice I'm open to try and help this little fluff ball(beyond the obvious keep the toddler far far away!!!)

Mama-bear, I think you should just keep doing what you are doing. The Gatorade, and vitamins won't hurt either. Just keep an eye out, and post any new developments, but for now, we will assume this is the chick that the 2 year old got ahold of. Let's hope there is no serious, or lasting damage, and it recovers quickly.

Separation might be a good idea (using a barrier in the same container, so the others can see but not touch). I recently had a spraddly chick progress well from weeks 1-4, standing and walking OK with leg strapping, but then the others got at him/her and removed his bandages while I was away for a few days and undid all the good work. The leg twisted, s/he never walked again and died after an attempt by a vet to splint his/her leg. RIP poor old Floopy (21-4-17 - 23-6-17) - hatched out of the wrong end of the egg, always had something wrong with him/her but full of spirit and guts!
That is so sad and yet human all at the same time. You tried. That’s all your can do for the little fluff balls. I’m hoping my tiny one makes it through the night right now. She’s not doing well but hasn’t given up. I names her Muhammad Ali since she’s a fighter this far!
