Ha ha you are thinking like me now. I was thinking the same thing. Only I was thinking loud dog barking and howling and rooster crowing and things like that . if it boils down to it and I have to get rid of them I am most definitely going to do that and when they come to say something I'm going to say well yes this is what I wanted to shoot myself for my loss of my animals. The animals that I had before that you made me get rid of War much more quiet than this

I would buy a nature CD of sqawking parrots and dogs barking, etc. Buy a sound decimal reader so you do not exceed the allowable noise law for your area. Play it during the allowable time--laws have noise ordinances between certain hours. I would play them outside daily and when an Officer comes to your door, you can truthfully state you do not have any animals and you can show proof that the noise is within legal limits. Explain that since your pets were ordered removed, you now have to supplement your psychological needs.

And if you have spot lights--position them so they glare into your neighbors windows, turn them on randomly at all hours. Again, check your cities code to determine your legal limits. In other words, legally, become the worst neighbor you can possibly be.

I don't understand this mentality. It should come as no surprise if and when someone in a position of authority comes knocking on your door if you're keeping poultry or any other livestock illegally. If you want to be a squeaky wheel, why not work to change the ordinances? Why punish your neighbors for something that, chances are, you knew you were running the risk of one day having removed? OP, can you move your chickens to your friend's house (the one who is currently housing your goat)?

To EGGSOTERRIC: Just having some fun to take the edge off a really sad situation. Sandmbaker wasn't bothering anyone. Some neighbors are so miserable, they have nothing better to do than take it out on others. Been there. Why do good people always have to be victims to mean people...

I am currently going through two separate legal options that I can do to change the laws. We are only talking of things that kid basically make a person feel better to talk about doing not saying one would actually do it call it a stress reliever just being able to get your frustration out. I do have the option to move my chickens out there but the farmer has lost so many of his chickens do to animals getting in and that is one risk I do not want to take because my silkies are like my children that would be like sending my child to downtown Chicago and sayings I'll come back for you when I can. It is just the love that I have for these animals.but rest assured I am going about this in a proper legal way in fact I have an appointment tonight what's a legal representative at 6 o'clock.

Oh my God, I hope you can resolve this. Have you gone and talked to your neighbours? Maybe you could try to find out who complained, and what their issues are. I know it sounds like a confronting thing to do, but maybe if they meet you and understand what the chickens mean to you, and you find out what they object to, it's possible you could get some sort of understanding. It's really crappy this person called the police before talking to you. Jesus, people are getting blown up by bombs, and this person calls the police because there are chickens next door.

update to everyone I went to see my psychiatrist last night and he was more than willing to help me help me out a paper that said how I have benefited from my animals and ask my doctor advises that I keep them. Tonight I go and talk to the mayor. I will let everyone know how it goes later tonight
