Help! I have 6 chicks in the brooder.... All were sexed pullets exept one... I really wanted a Blue laced red Wyandotte... But they were straight run....I was so hoping I would win the gamble, and it would be a girl!!! If it isn't I'll have to re-home it, which would break my heart! They are about 5 weeks old, and I was getting more confident that it was a Pullet for a couple reasons... It has smaller legs than my SLW, it has super defined lacing, It hasn't grown faster or slower than the others, and because I chose the smallest chick they had! But I am not so sure now... It looks like it's comb is slightly wide and pink
it's hard to know, because I have nothing to go off of... The other Wyandotte has a rosecomb, this one has a cushion comb.. I'll post pics as soon as my camera charges, but is this a pretty certain sign my chick is male? I have heard that wyandottes pink up young.... Help please!
