How about some updated pics now to compare. Sounds great he is doing so well. Just needed sometime to recover. One thing the neo may have done is kept flies from laying eggs in his wounds so keep and eye on that you don't want flies getting at any of his injuries if any are still open.
The pics I just posted are from this morning. It was hard to get a good picture because he kept struggling to get down. I consider that a good sign. He has definitely got his spunk back. The first few days he was too exhausted to even try to put up a fight. Initially his skin was different shades red with blood here and there. Now there is scabbing and tough skin in shades of dark brown and yellow. There is no puss or anything. It just feels like large scabs. He has also been scratching, another sign of healing usually. He is now eating and foraging again. He is also walking at a normal pace instead of a slow crawl. I havn't seen him in the duck house at all today since I let them all out. He seems to be resuming his old habits. Any idea how long it takes for the scabs to fall off?
