HELP Drake is limp and might have worms

Ok, she recommended Vitamin B3 complex for niacin deficiency...

'I would put B complex in water at 150 mg B3 per gallon of drinking water'

Direct quote from Amiga... get regular B complex pills, not time released, add up how many or halves to equal 150mg of B3, crush tablets and dissolve in a gallon of water for him... probably wouldn't hurt to give it to them all too, but I would separate him to be sure he is only drinking that and also to keep him from injuring himself more... hope this helps...

400

I got this poultry supplament. These are the vitamins it includes

Looks like it has 340mg niacin per pound? I am not sure if that can be accurately measured for enough to help him, and I don't know what that dosage would be... I really don't like that it has salt in it, but like I said, Amiga knows more on this than I do...

I would just pick up the Vitamin B3 complex to try, it couldn't hurt...

I would not give worm medicine now. I would have a fecal test and get him on B complex right away. Probiotics, too. I would hold off on corn and give a tablespoon of small dry cat kibble daily.

I got the B complex and am giving him that. also read that it could be a spinal injury. Is there anything I can do if that is the case or is it fatal

Ducks can recover from awful injuries.

I would give him time in a lukewarm tub of water, time to just float and relax. Watch closely to make sure he can manage without trouble. You will also be able to see how he can move his legs without weight on them.

The water cheers ducks up, takes weight off the legs, improves circulation and gives some light exercise.

I would give B vitamin supplements - B vitamins, I am told, help the nervous system. So hydrotherapy (bath time) and the best nutrition you can manage, including the B vitamins, TLC and time may do more than you can imagine. I would give the guy every chance.
