Help! duck egg day 29, no pipping - pic included... getting anxious

Hello. Being it's in a homemade incubator. It possibly will take longer to hatch than the normal incubation time. Don't put a safety hole in the shell until it has internally pipped. You waited this long, keep waiting.

Yes..It's a process that can't be rushed or the Duckling will die. The blood supply needs to dry up and the yolk needs to be absorbed before the Duckling hatches. If not internally pipped it won't survive if you start poking holes in the egg. Wait. You waited this long..

I agree. With the temps dropping now and again, it will take longer to hatch. Just keep waiting and watching. Great job by the way!

I’m just going to sit tight and wait it out! It’s so hard just waiting but I don’t want to hurt the little thing. But I’ll post as it unfolds

Definitely wait. It's hard but interfering at this stage could cost you the Duckling..

I candled this morning and air sac is larger more drawn down so I take that as a positive sign, that hopefully duckling is perhaps moving into position? I didn’t move it but I marked it air sac so that I have something I can compare it’s progression to.
