Help! duck egg day 29, no pipping - pic included... getting anxious

That was last year and I had some temp spikes (ac in the house failed) during the hatch. Yup lots of external pips and a good hatch, but surprising none the less. I don't have any pics of this hatch yet... But using a flashlight to check the eggs regularly. I should not be hearing chirping for another couple days. I put all of my hatches into a spreadsheet and calculate the days.

Lol, I missed where it said last year! I thought you'd just found that after hearing all the peeping today.

Sounds like you're gonna have some new hatchlings soon :)

It scares me as I don't like early risers.... changes up the whole when they go to the brooder thing and I don't have room right now.

Got 7 out of that hatch. I may add some new blood to the stock come next spring. Been thinking a lot about moving over to Aylesbury's instead of rouens as the rouens are recovering and the aylesbury's are still critically endangered. They are also better layers and bigger birds for meat.
