Help! duck egg day 29, no pipping - pic included... getting anxious

I use a small screw or drill bit and just twist it back and forth gently until a small hole is formed.

They’re supposed to hatch within 24 hours after internally pipping, why would you interfere that early?

Huh? Her duck pipped internally over 24 hours ago, it hasn't made an external pip. Not talking about help the duck hatch, talking about making a safety hole.

Did you ever pay attention to the time it first made an external pip...after the internal pip?

How long it took to make the external pip...not "hatch"...just external pip.

It may of been longer because I only kept track of time after the internal pip. And sorry I meant “external pip” not “hatch”

Correct..we are only talking about a safety hole right now.
Forget hatching.
We are even to that step yet.
We are just double checking to make sure about making a safety hole only.
