Some ducks are just starting laying. and I'm getting some soft shells eggs. We do put crushed egg shells in thierfood and some crushed sea shell, free choice. Some of the younger ones don't know to eat it and are probably laying the soft shell. The older ones take it.

Hi there! I hope I’m not too late here and your duck is still with us! I work for an exotic/avian vet, and she normally recommends Clavamox for this kind of thing with Metacam. I recommend contacting a local mixed practice vet or large animal vet and requesting it. The clavamox is a dosage of about 125 mg/kg BID, and Metacam is about 0.5 mg/kg SID. But your local vet will hopefully check those doses with their Plumb book. Clavamox is an antibiotic, this sounds like an infection is going on, perhaps in the egg shell duct, or elsewhere in the reproductive tract. The Metacam, also called meloxicam, is for pain, swelling, and inflammation. Additionally you may want to research their diet further to be sure they’re getting all they need from it, such as niacin and calcium!
