UPDATE!
I thought I would let you guys know, he seems to be getting better! we think he has a sprain, since the leg is still slightly swollen. we know it's not an infection, because it would have gotten much worse by now. he's eating and drinking fine, and tried to run away from me earlier.
he does enjoy being outside of the run during the day, (I put him out there so he wouldn't get picked on, since he's still slow) and he enjoys sitting in the shade under one of our apple trees, along with one of our more calm, smaller females.
