Help! Duckling bleeding!

@Jpat do you think OP should just take the duckling out? I would be worried about shrinkwrapping and curled feet of it was already zipping. Maybe it would be better to deal with the baby after its out.
 
it looks okay the bleeding should stop, its common for ducks to take long breaks during every stage of hatching, But now that its able to breath it should be safe for several more hours

The inner membrame is filled with tiny delicate veins and its very easy to cause bleeding

once the blood has dried up ide apply olive oil or coconut oil to the membrane and wait patiently, they still need to absorb the blood out of the membrane veins and absorb their yolk

Just 2 nights ago i had 2 silkies with the membranes dried and i applied the oil and 8 hours later they let themselvs out

Still breathing but no progress
 
When the duckling is ready to hatch the membrane will be completely devoid of blood, The yolk will be absorbed into the stomach cavity, and the umbilical cord unattached
it will clearly pushing and fighting to get out

How many hours since you uncovered its mouth?
