Still breathing but no progressit looks okay the bleeding should stop, its common for ducks to take long breaks during every stage of hatching, But now that its able to breath it should be safe for several more hours
The inner membrame is filled with tiny delicate veins and its very easy to cause bleeding
once the blood has dried up ide apply olive oil or coconut oil to the membrane and wait patiently, they still need to absorb the blood out of the membrane veins and absorb their yolk
Just 2 nights ago i had 2 silkies with the membranes dried and i applied the oil and 8 hours later they let themselvs out
Just wait another hour or so so it can finish absorbing the yolk and blood veins. Is it making yawning motions with its mouth?Still breathing but no progress
Yes it is!!Just wait another hour or so so it can finish absorbing the yolk and blood veins. Is it making yawning motions with its mouth?
