Help! Duckling bleeding!

I’m so sorry. I was hoping since she had the strength to push out of the shell on her own, that she might be ok.
I have, on occasions, euthanized baby birds. These decisions are excruciating to make. In this case, I feel like Mother Nature will make the decision before you will have to make it. She will either simply stop breathing, or a miracle will happen. :hugs

Hello, everyone. I am sad to say that I decided to put her down. She was not doing well at all. She was dehydrated, and her leg was deformed from the way she was positioned. I did not want her to suffer although I loved her greatly. I had my boyfriend put her down humanely. I feel horrible and am extremely upset.

Its happened to all of us and it sucks

But how are the ducklings doing?

The ducklings are doing great! I don’t know if I’ve mentioned this already, but I took on a special one from tractor supply! She looks better than she did. Still has some trouble walking, but she’s my baby. They’re all doing good and being bad lol
Thats so good of you, The B complex vitamins you get at feed stores are great for weaklings and the whole flock too
