Help! EE with bloody vent!

For SOME REASON my Mom came home with no electrolytes, and no penicillin:barnie:he will she live without it? I can't drive

Yes... I feed organic layer pellet, organic scratch, oyster shell, mealworms and vegetable compost. Yes, she eats the feathers.

I'll try to get some tomorrow... Luckily she seems very well! Exept her vent still has poop running out.
She might survive without them.
Can you post some updated photos? It's concerning that she poop running out of her vent.

What percentage is your layer pellet? With her eating the feathers, you may need to increase your protein. Cut out the amount of scratch you give.

I'm wondering if the cloacal sphincter (sp?) or cloacal elevator is damaged. it sounds to me like she's not able to close off her large intestine.

is dark out now, and she somehow escaped her quarantine and is sleeping with the other chickens... I can't catch her:(

OH NO! It's possible since my hens were pecking her... What can you do to help that???? (If anything:()

I was worried that she injured something having to do with it too.:(
Can you take her off the roost at first light and get her back into separation? It would not be too good for the other hens to pick at her right now.

Give her a few days of separation to see if the leaking improves. She may be swollen and that's why she's leaking, it's really hard to know since it looked like she did suffer some damage. Time will tell, so let's be hopeful.

I will do my very best!!! She is my ONLY scardy chicken... And all my pullets were raised together and I spent time with them all the same
