Great advice from the others. I also keep my injured birds on a heating pad as it helps with shock, also helps them to focus their energies on the healing and not trying to stay warm. Sorry, it is disturbing. I had a little pullet scalped pretty bad and she's healed beautifully. I cleaned the wound with a diluted betadine solution the first day then applied triple antibiotic ointment to the wound twice daily. I could see the improvement with each day. It was truly amazing. Your girl will be alright.
