HELP! Emergency! Please answer

I think I used one called Dumor because it was good for chicks and ducklings, which I have. I do not think brand matters though.

Yes a q-tip is what most have used. Any more questions? If not I'm off to bed its very late where I live!

When we checked on the chicks this morning we found one dead, the others all wet as if they just hatched. They look sick. Could it be the molasses water? We took it out. btw te food looked all wet and clumped yesterday.

I feed baby quail & usually adult a wet food. It helps make sure they get enough water. They also need high protein game bird or Turkey starter. To much heat can cause the problem your having. Sorry I didn't answer sooner but when I skimmed & seen so many responses I figured you had your answer.

Also I don't know Bobwhites so I figured someone else would be more knowledgeable.

Sorry about the dead chick.

You could try sugar water or honey on the prolapse. I've heard it causes the vent to shrink/recede back into the body, but am not sure how well it works.
