I would be interested in how this case turned out. I have a Mottle Cochin Bantam roo, and he developed a very hard pocket which took over an eye. I finally took him to our vet who gave him some twilight anesthesia, and with a laser cut off the pocket, which was solidified pus. He was given 10 days of antibiotics. But now he is blind in both eyes, or can possibly see shadows. He does fine in an enclosed coop and pen, and his girls help him out. Any answers to what caused this?
