Bella is my 2-3 months old pekin duckling and she is having trouble with walking. I noticed that she has a bump on her leg which seems to me like an insect bite (because of the little hole in the bump). I tried calling a vet but they said they didn't treat ducklings. Same for all the vets in my region 😐. Then, I tried removing the stuff inside the bump and came out as a yellow substance which I think is pus. There still remained a little bit because Bella was a little tired and I didn't want to hurt her anymore (but the bump did get smaller). I also applied some medicine on her bump. The next day, I saw the bump grow back and was back like before. So that's why I came here to get some help. Here is a picture I took of Bella (sadly I could not insert a video) :

That looks like a bumblefoot infection but on her leg. I hope others will weigh in (@Miss Lydia) If you are able to remove the scab and any gunk inside, pack it with triple antibiotic ointment (not the type with pain reliever) and cover it with a little piece of gauze and put some vet wrap around the leg to hold the bandage in place (not too tight, not too loose). Then don't let her swim for a couple days until it scabs over. Bumblefoot is an infection that typically occurs on the bottom of the foot when there is a cut in the skin and bacteria gets in. Maybe she scraped or cut her leg on something? It looks swollen, so is likely infected. But pekins also are often niacin-deficient. Even if you are feeding a proper duckling food that has niacin, you often need to give pekins extra for their leg development, because they grow so big so fast. If she's struggling I would get her on 1 ml a day of liquid vitamin B complex - it says injectable, but feed it to her over treats. You can also add nutritional or brewer's yeast on top of her food, but the liquid vitamin B complex is a faster working rescue med once your duck is struggling. Are you sure she's 2-3 months old? She looks like she still has a lot of down, and by that age they're usually almost fully feathered.

Tysm for helping, I will try this treatment but should I still give vitamin B since I'm already giving her Niacin (Vitamin B3)? Also I was wondering if the food I give them is okay for their age, I gave them chopped dandelion leaves with corn bits. I'm almost sure they're 2-3 months old because I took a picture of them when they were born on May 15th:

They are not getting the nutrition needed for proper development with that diet. They need a specified duck food. Do you have access to a feed store? They would have something there, otherwise you can order it online, from a place like Chewy.com. Here is an example of a duck food that can be purchased there: https://www.chewy.com/kalmbach-feeds-all-natural-duck-goose/dp/311717. All sorts of problems can occur if they don't have the proper nutrition, probably why she's having an issue with walking. I would get them started with the right food as soon as possible! What type of niacin are you giving?
