First, have you tried the various Alaska Facebook animal pages?I want to start raising quail. I’m having very little luck finding anyone selling Coturnix quail chicks near Palmer, Alaska. Any help would be much appreciated.
My lack of patience took over today. LolFirst, have you tried the various Alaska Facebook animal pages?
Second... shocker though it sounds... I had GREAT luck with shipped quail eggs. Maybe because they are so tiny, they are less likely to get broken or scrambled even with shipping all of the way to Alaska.
Sorry, but I don't know anyone currently raising them.
They are an excellent choice though. Super fast from chick to eggs and meat.
Hello! I am also in Palmer Alaska abs trying to find quail and have zero luck. Did you ever find someone who sells?I want to start raising quail. I’m having very little luck finding anyone selling Coturnix quail chicks near Palmer, Alaska. Any help would be much appreciated.
Tell us how the eggs do... in 9 or so days.Yes I actually did! Alaska Feeder Farm on Facebook had some for sale. If you have Facebook just message them about their price and size list for live quail. I also ordered an incubator and I got thirty fertilized eggs from a quail breeder in Texas. I have 9 days left on the incubation, hopefully I have a decent hatch rate! I also ordered eggs from Myshire farm, they are a ways out though because of back orders.
