I also think it will continue to absorb, but definitely very dangerous on that wire floor. Glad you got it taken off there!

Now that it's off the wire, it should hopefully be okay. You just have to wait until it either finishes absorbing that little bit of yolk, or until it dries up.

Hello- my wonderful friends! Thanks to your help and guidance- I’d like you to know- today, this little one has completely absorbed the yolk- there’s nothing that appears unhealthy about him or her. In fact, he or she is loud and full of fire. Seems to be a handful! Yay!
