He lovesss drinking water i mixed it in with his food at what age can i start giving them chopped fruits and veggies.. always thought it was after 2 weeks these guys are only 5ish days old
I gave mine watermelon cut up in tiny pieces at about a week and they LOVED it! Also mealworms too but make sure you give them a little bowl of chick grit if you give mealworms. I can't remember exactly why but I think it's something to do with mealworms being high in protein.

Any food other than their reg feed needs grit since they have no way of chewing they use the grit to grind up what they eat. I gave my little ones mealworms at about 5 days I just kind of crush them first. After 2 weeks no crushing necessary. Introduce any new food with just small amounts since their most important food is their feed. Everything else is treats.

Flock raiser is excellent feed for all poultry it actually has the right amount of niacin in it for water fowl but for some Reason Larger breeds can still have a deficiency probably because they grow so fast. But giving the extra liquid b complex can take care of any deficiency if that’s what it is pretty quick. Then if you want to you can keep them on it or have Nutritional yeast for them but they need the extra until 10 weeks of age since that’s when they are growing the fastest. Put it over their feed just enough feed they eat it up pretty quick then you can give them more you just want to make sure they are getting full dose.
