Help! first time hatching!

how much of the shell is off any more than in the pic

I like to position my eggs so that the pip is facing up.

This is how I set mine. Large part of the air cel is facing up, and that's where they're supposed to pip.

Keep an eye out for spots like these:

That was one that tried to pip at the wrong end. Note that *not* all wrong end pips will do this, but some do.

Ha! yes they made it, late but they made it, plus we had the rush of fixing last minute valentine treats, so that was fun (sarcasm)
