I'm going to add some water so it overflows a teensy bit.

They're pipped on the fatter ends.
Good deal. Hopefully the humidity comes up and they start popping out! Yes, I don't think vinegar would be the best for them... heeheeI added water. All my mister bottles have water and vinegar in them (for cleaning). I suppose white vinegar isn't good for hatching chicks.I also realized that there is only about 1/2" between tray and channels. Silly me. I make terrible estimates, apparently.![]()
All 12 duck eggs have pipped. Maybe one or two chicken eggs. I can't really tell
One of the silkie eggs has pipped a teensy bit. I hope it hatches! I've read that silkies are one of the hardest to incubate.
When/if it hatches, should I remove it sooner than the others because it's so tiny?
Misting did the trick. Up to 73% now. Is that too high? Will it drown the silkies?
Ok, but 65% is the recommended for all hatching and these are ducks. Also, vent is supposed to be no more than 2/3 closed and I have it fully closed
