Help! first time hatching!

I added water. All my mister bottles have water and vinegar in them (for cleaning). I suppose white vinegar isn't good for hatching chicks.

I also realized that there is only about 1/2" between tray and channels. Silly me. I make terrible estimates, apparently.
All 12 duck eggs have pipped. Maybe one or two chicken eggs. I can't really tell

They're pipped on the fatter ends.

Whew! Good. I couldn't tell for sure from the pic.

Good deal. Hopefully the humidity comes up and they start popping out! Yes, I don't think vinegar would be the best for them... heehee
I actually use an old hairspray bottle, but I've had only water in it for years, so it has been rinsed out probably a few hundred times or more.

One of the silkie eggs has pipped a teensy bit. I hope it hatches! I've read that silkies are one of the hardest to incubate.
When/if it hatches, should I remove it sooner than the others because it's so tiny?

I think that will really depend on what else is going on at the time. I also have heard they are hard to incubate. And keep in mind ducks "can" be ruthless little boogers. So I would plan on getting Miss Silkie out as soon as its safe to do so.

How's the humidity looking now?

Ok, but 65% is the recommended for all hatching and these are ducks. Also, vent is supposed to be no more than 2/3 closed and I have it fully closed

Just because they are a water fowl, doesn't mean they need LOTS of water, they are not in a position right now to where they have expanded the use of there lungs.
