Did your other Polish die shortly after sneezing? (I'm asking because you said you didn't know how to keep them alive). Pictures of the chicken in question, her poop and your coop setups ventilation would be helpful. Also how old is young? Is your polish acting reserved, lethargic, any drainage, eating, drinking, pooping normally? Any other chickens showing symptoms?I have a young polish chick that has started sneezing. Have had this happen in past with polish and I dont know what to do to keep them alive.
Vaccines are never 100%. If your chicks are showing signs of Coccidiosis you treat them for it immediately. Do you have other breeds besides polish? And if I am reading correctly this has happened with several separate groups of polish?I got a few chicks from a local hatchery where they were supposedly vaccinated for maricks and coccidia, yet I still find bloody poop. Lost a polish who had blood in poop. I cant give medicated feed because they were vaccinated and read corid will cancel out the coccodia shot so what can I do for bloody poo?
I lost another polish chick who developed closed eyes and kept his head down like wry neck. The heat lamp was too hot for them so I am using a bantam hen to keep them warm. They are a lot more comfortable with her. Last year, I had a polish reach 4 months and was in the coop with my other chickens when he died from something. He too suffered a bit from a respiratory ailment I tried treating for and seemed to recover. Also he would act like he was gasping for breath which I thought was gape worm. I cant keep polish chicks going and it is frustrating.
