Help hatching chick is in critical condition!

So this is 48 hours after the baby started peeping he doesn't look good but is alive for now! He was kinda shrink wrapped in n his egg when I woke up this morning I'm leaving him in the incubator but there is a nasty thick green stuff looks like split pea soup all over him! Any advice u may have would be awsome. Because I really dont want him to die I left him still attached to the egg or whatever!
Ouch.
I do not think this poor thing is going to make it.

It's tough call....I just finished a hatch, assisted 2 that made it and 1 that didn't.
You've gotten great advice...Best of Luck.
I had one with too much fluid in it, too (a previously-refrigerated dark-shelled egg) and assisted...the chick died this morning after slowly fading away over a few days. Not sorry I tried, but that's the reality of assisting in hatches: sometimes, the outcome isn't what you hope. :hmm

I've assisted many chicks. I peel just a small amount of shell and as soon as I see even a tiny bit of blood I stop. I try not to take shell off the end so the chick will slide out if it isn't ready to. I always use backup for the temp and humidity as my digitals never seem to be right. I lose some, but most of the time they survive. Doesn't happen to often. My hardest time is when it's hot and humid outside and I'm constantly fighting with the humidity in the incubators. I dry hatch and don't let the humidity get above 50%
